12/22/2016 0 Comments Breathing in rest pose. The "rest pose" or "child's pose" is a great way to alleviate tension on the back muscles. Here goes my pro-tip: Take a couple of deep breaths in and out before you roll back up. During breathing exercise, your tummy should gently press against your thighs and you're more likely to feel your ribs expanding during inhalation.
It is an excellent way to practice belly breathing or diaphragmatic breathing. Enjoy!
